Niklas Lukassen feat. Will Vinson, Tom Cawley & Marc Michel: Still Waters – Album launch!
Renowned German born and New York seasoned bass
player Niklas Lukassen presents his new album ‘Still Waters’ in a special
international line up with Will Vinson on alto saxophone, Tom Cawley on piano
and Marc Michel on drums!
Still Waters received remarkable
international recognition, surfacing a many-layered artistic voice with a
distinctive musical vision. Released on Kurt Rosenwinkel's
Heartcore Records, it is a radiant display of Niklas Lukassen’s combined
talents as a bassist, composer and also a vocalist. With natural
improvisational flow, this group of outstanding creative individualists
produces pounding waves of raw energy and explores the unimagined depths that
underlie supposedly still waters.
Line up:
Will Vinson - alto saxophone
Tom Cawley - piano
Niklas Lukassen - upright bass
Marc Michel – drums
Niklas Lukassen accompanied performances with

these still waters, that run deep" - Kurt Rosenwinkel
