Canadian-born,
London-based artist Jay Phelps has performed with some of the world’s top
artists such as Wynton Marsalis, Shabaka Hutchings, Amy Winehouse and Wizkid.
With
an instantly recognisable warm and projecting trumpet tone, Phelps is a
household name on the international Jazz scene with worldwide streams exceeding
700k and his DJ sets are becoming legendary!
Phelps conceptualised the play ‘Miles’ where he debuted as an actor playing a
musician. Both runs at the Edinburgh Fringe festival and the Southwark
Playhouse were sold out throughout.
Jay brings his signature style to Sun Street Hotel for a new residency where
he’ll be joined by London’s finest Jazz musicians.
