Composer and improviser, Martin plays vibraphone, drums, and percussion and makes extensive use of electronics. His music draws on a wide range of influences - jazz, free improv, Americana, electronica and classical. Current projects include trio Busnoys with Jeff Spencer and Trevor Davies, an improvising duo with fellow vibraphonist Corey Mwamba, and a trio with reeds player Tom Ward and guitarist Ed Riches, as well as a brand new duo with pianist Stephen Grew.
