Jazz pianist/composer Kate Williams was born in London into a musical family. She has gained a distinctive reputation as both a writer and performer. She has released several CDs, each one to critical acclaim, including 'Made Up' and 'Atlas And Vulcana' (with her septet) and 'Smoke And Mirrors' (with the late tenor legend Bobby Wellins). Her most recent project is 'Four Plus Three', a new collaboration between her trio and the Guastalla string quartet.
